Morning Prayer 2008
May We Pray:
Lord, this morning we ask for comfort and consolation as we Join In Memory.†
In our loss, we are shackled by a heavy burden and burdened by a load of care.† So touch us with some sunshine in the midst of the dark and gloom.
Why, we know you didnít give us our son, Jim, by a hundred million miles.† You just lent him to us to bring some sunshine and a smile.
Now Jim has gone and run away, but our faith teaches us that we will see him another day.
So, as we Join in Memory give us the courage to live by faith:
†††††††††††††††††† In our rising up and lying down;
†††††††††††††††††† In our labor and our leisure;
†††††††††††††††††† In our laughter and our tears.
Until we stand before You in that day when there is no dawning and no setting sun.
